Do I need a gaming PC?+
No. OutReal runs SteamVR games on cloud GPU servers and streams them straight to your headset's browser. There's nothing to install and no expensive PC to buy — the heavy lifting happens in the cloud, not on your hardware.
Which headsets are supported?+
Any headset that can open a browser. OutReal fully supports Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest 3S, with Samsung Galaxy XR coming soon — and more added over time.
How do I connect my headset?+
Pick a plan, open game.outreal.live in your headset's browser, and sign in. Press play and we start a cloud machine for you, which can take several minutes. Once your game is streaming, your 6DoF controllers are fully tracked.
What games can I play?+
The SteamVR games you own on Steam. You sign in with your own Steam account, and we support the most-played titles — from Half-Life: Alyx and Beat Saber to Blade & Sorcery and Pavlov VR. Don't see a game you want? Request it and we'll add it.
Can I bring my own SteamVR games?+
Yes — you always play with your own Steam account, so the games are the ones you own. We support the most-played VR titles; if you own one we don't support yet, request it and we'll add it.
How does playtime billing work?+
Plans are priced by playtime. Starter is $15.99/mo for 5 hours, Gamer is $31.99/mo for 10 hours (Most Popular), and Pro is $47.99/mo for 15 hours. Choose the plan that matches how much you play.
Is there a free trial?+
No. Plans start at $15.99/month for 5 hours of play. Change or cancel anytime.
Do unused hours expire?+
No. Your hours don't expire while your plan is active, so there's no pressure to use them by a certain date. Play at your own pace, whenever it suits you.
What internet speed do I need?+
A stable connection of around 50+ Mbps is recommended, ideally over 5 GHz Wi-Fi. The game runs on our servers, so you're only streaming video and sending controller input.
Is there noticeable latency?+
We stream up to 2064 × 2208 per eye at up to 90 FPS from low-latency servers in the UK, US, Europe and Canada. Connecting to a nearby server keeps response times fast and comfortable in headset.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. There's no lock-in — you can cancel your plan whenever you like and keep playing until your billing period ends.
